Here I go Again...

The longer you hang around me the more you hear about my passion for Africa.  As I prepare for my 6th Safari (Journey) to Africa in as many years, I am humbled beyond the telling for the privilege and blessing it is and has been to have had these opportunities.
As I was working on setting up a new (used) laptop that I will use as my travel computer, I came across my old blogs.  "Babu Traveler" I started back in 2008 for my first trip to Tanzania, and was my first attempt at a blog.  Babu is Swahili for Grandfather.  "African Traveler" was started back in 2011 as an attempt to expand my blogging when I visited 4 countries on a scouting trip.
I also realized that I totally forgot about blogging on my trip to Benin last year.  I was more focused on Facebook, but irregardless, the internet in Benin had a lot to be desired and we were left wanting most of the time.
My return trip to Benin this year, now 37 days away, will be leading another team, albeit smaller, to partner with OneHope.
So now, I begin again, seemingly more simple under the banner of just "Safari".  Safari is a Swahili word that means travel or journey.  My adventures to Africa have most definitely been a journey.  God has continue to use people in each of the 6 countries I have had a chance to visit to date, to mark my life in such a way that those around me are marked as well, most without even realizing it.
